Her Dress Is Laced Up In The Front And Its Exposing Her Right Breast, It Just Falls Perfectly On Her Frame. Her Hair Is Tied Up With A Line Straight Through The Middle. She Wears Her Dress Well With Her Body That Is All Voluptuous And Full. This Is A Handmade Bronze Sculpture Casted Using The “Lost Wax Method”. It Is Mounted On A Black Marble Base And Is Signed By Auguste Moreau. Auguste Louis Marthurin Moreau French, 1834-1917 Auguste Louis Marthurin Moreau Was Born In Dijon, Paris On April 23 1855, The Youngest Son Of Sculptor And Painter Jean-Baptiste Moreau. He Studied With His Father And Also Under Aimé Millet, Augustin Drumont And Jean Thomas. Each Of The Three Moreau Brothers - Hippolyte, Marthurin And Auguste - Have Become Renowned For The Quality And The Beauty Of Their Figurative Sculpture. Auguste Moreau Worked As A Sculptor And Specialized In Figures, Statuettes And Groups, Mainly In Marble. He Made His Debut At The 1861 Salon In Paris And Continued To Play An Active Part In The Salon Des Artistes Francais As A Member Of The Societe Des Artistes Francais Until 1910.
